Nationwide snaps up Virgin Money for over £3 billion

Another day, another fresh deal announced in the UK market.

The latest is Nationwide's move to puy lender Virgin Money for over £2 billion.

That Clydesdale Bank bid for Virgin Money...

Oh look - Clydesdale Bank has finally made a takeover approach for Virgin Money, saying it submitted an offer for the challenger bank on May 7 (yesterday).
