Loyal readers will be aware that this website has been following the THG Holding situation closely but I noticed today that one of Betaville's favourite City commentator's came up with a on excellent column about the company also known as The Hut Group.

It would appear there is an interesting game of poker being played by THG's controversial management and stock market bears, with the latter willing to call the former's bluff.

Plenty of Fleet Street hacks have jumped on the bear story surrounding The Hut Group, the London-listed e-commerce company also known as THG, in the last few days.
Indeed, the company's problems, including an over 40pc share price collapse over a fortnight, are managing to fill whole front pages and commentary columns this week...

The Hut Group, the London-listed e-commerce retail giant, is rumoured to be working on a deal that could see the company raise up to £500 million of fresh funds.
People following the situation suggested the £500 million deal may be immiment although it's not clear what type of transaction is being contemplated by The Hut Group.
