It sounds like the owners of Yorkshire Water are gearing up for another attempt at selling their stakes in the water company.

City sources told little old Betaville that Corsair Capital - which owns 30pc of Kelda, Yorkshire Water's holding company - is working with the sharp suited types at Goldman Sachs to find a buyer for its shareholding...

One of America's largest private equity houses is rumoured to be interested in buying DXC Technology, the US-listed IT services group.

Last week, Bloomberg reported that DXC had been approached by at least one private equity firm.

People following the situation had heard talk KKR & Co is one of the buy-out houses that is looking at DXC.

However, it's not clear whether DXC is open to a deal with a private equity house...
