The Guardian have just published an intriguing article about the on-off sale of Chelsea Football Club.
Most of the market seemed to think the sale was off yesterday following the news about the British government sanctioning Roman Abramovich.
But now hacks at The Guardian are reporting that a select group of potential buyers are being considered as potential owners by the UK government (is that Nadine Dorries?).
Those in the frame are said to include a consortium headed by American Todd Boehly and and Swiss Hansjörg Wyss, and also a group led by British property developer Nick Candy, who once tried to buy Capital & Counties. Below is a link to The Guardian piece:
