A New Year's question: will Michael Kors strike a deal in 2017? - part 3

It would appear little old Betaville's missive on Michael Kor's dealmaking intentions from late December was barking up the right tree after all.

In case you don't recall, little old Betaville published this controversial (I say controversial because I had quite a reaction to it from some readers) piece back on New Year's eve:

And so Michael Kors has in fact struck a deal in 2017 - just not quite the one little old Betaville stumbled across at the back end of last year (see below).

Michael Kors shares are down over 30pc over the last twelve months amid a tough US retail market so I guess the best way to play defence is to go on the offence, especially as sterling is down by a similar amount to the US dollar!..
