Well, this shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise to loyal readers of this website's UNCOOKED, RARE and WELL-DONE alerts as back in late October Betaville published a piece suggesting at least one private equity firm was sniffing around Stagecoach with a view to making a counter offer.
